Stoner Gift Ideas – The best gifts for stoners & cannabis fans
Nick Will
The best gifts for stoners are things that are actually used in everyday life. This includes high-quality accessories, good storage, or a gift card that allows the recipient to choose for themselves. Gag gifts with no utility, on the other hand, quickly end up in a drawer.
Here you will find gift ideas for stoners and cannabis fans for Christmas, birthdays, or Secret Santa. They are sorted by budget and type, with an overview table and the most common gifting mistakes.
What makes a good gift for a stoner?
A good stoner gift meets at least one of these four criteria:
- Utility: It is used regularly rather than just providing a one-time surprise.
- Quality: Well-known brands and good craftsmanship distinguish it from cheap items.
- Style: The color, material, and design match the recipient's setup.
- Organization: Storage and accessories keep the setup clean, protected, and discreet.
Our guide, Stoner Accessories: What do you really need?, explains what belongs in a basic setup.

Gift ideas by type
For beginners
Anyone new to the scene will appreciate basics that go well together: papers with filters and a simple tray. For common mistakes beginners make with accessories, check out Typical beginner mistakes with stoner accessories.
For experienced users who already have everything
Here you'll score points by giving an upgrade rather than more of the same. High-quality storage like the SkunkTrunk or a special rolling tray are items many wouldn't buy for themselves. Another idea is paper varieties the person hasn't tried yet. Our comparison of the best papers provides guidance.
For style lovers
Color-coordinated accessories look like they belong together. Pink is particularly popular. In the Pink Papers category, you'll find papers, filters, and rolls in a matching look.
For those on the go
Odor-proof storage and compact accessories are perfect here. Our guide, Stoner accessories for on the go, shows what works well when traveling.
Storage as a gift: the SkunkTrunk
The SkunkTrunk is a humidor made of violet glass, including a humidity regulator. The glass protects the contents from light and UV radiation; it is food-safe and FDA- and LFGB-compliant. A gift that is used daily and looks great on a shelf.
Our guide, Storing cannabis correctly, explains why the right storage is important. You can find all our storage solutions under Storage.
Last-minute gift: the Skunaby gift card
If time is running out or you aren't sure about the person's taste, the Skunaby gift card is the safe choice. It is available in €10, €25, or €50 amounts.
You receive it via email with a QR code and gift code, as well as an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet card. You can print it out and give it in person or send it digitally. The recipient then chooses exactly what fits their setup.
Common mistakes when gifting to stoners
- Gag over utility: Joke items are quickly forgotten; good accessories are used daily.
- Cheap quality: No-name papers or flimsy trays make a bad impression.
- Consumables instead of accessories: Give accessories, not consumable products.
- Wrong format: Not everyone rolls King Size Slim. If unsure, go for different formats or a gift card.
- Ordered too late: Order in good time before the holidays. If it's a tight squeeze, the digital gift card is the solution.
Conclusion: Gifts for stoners that will actually be appreciated
The best gift for a stoner is practical, high-quality, and fits the recipient's style.
- Small budget: Papers, a metal tray, or a Boveda pack.
- Medium budget: The SkunkTrunk or a tray from our collection really makes an impression.
- If you are unsure: The gift card keeps their options open.
